Finally got off my ass and went to a museum. LACMA was different than the last time with a whole new Modern wing, just opened in February. Some pretty nice Jeff Koon's sculptures even though not to fond of the factory painting. Also Richard Serra sculptures and Damien Hurst Butterfly series was very intriguing. The best was definitely outside right on the street with Chris Burden's Urban Lights. I walked and waited for more than an hour for the sun to go down to see these beauties at night. There were over 25o lamps placed strategically in rows. I love shots like that, trees in a row, anything in a row. Makes for a great shot. A good damn day!
